Delivery is convenient, but the same Burger King order can cost a lot more through an app than at the counter. Comparing two or three apps before you pay takes a couple of minutes and usually brings the total down.
Where you can order Burger King delivery
Depending on your area, you can get Burger King delivered through the BK app or bk.com, or through third-party apps such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. Not every restaurant is available on every platform.
Why delivery costs more
- Menu prices: items on delivery apps are often priced higher than in the restaurant.
- Delivery fee: charged per order, and sometimes reduced or waived during promotions.
- Service fee: usually a percentage of the order.
- Small-order fee: added when your order is below the app’s minimum.
- Tip: optional, but customary for the driver.
How to compare and save
- Build the same order in two or three apps.
- Go to the final checkout screen in each one, where all fees are shown.
- Apply any promotion available in each app.
- Choose the lowest final total, then decide on the tip.
Promotions worth checking
- New-customer discounts on delivery apps you haven’t used before.
- Subscription programs such as DashPass, Uber One and Grubhub+, which reduce delivery fees on eligible orders. They only pay off if you order often.
- Restaurant-specific promotions shown on the Burger King store page inside each app.
- Offers inside the BK app. Some are valid for delivery, while others work only for pickup or in the restaurant.
When pickup is the better deal
If the restaurant is close by, ordering ahead in the BK app for pickup lets you use app offers and skip delivery and service fees entirely. For many orders, that’s the single biggest saving available.
